Welcome to Highlands Nordic Sno-Park

Highlands Nordic Ski Club

The Highlands Nordic Ski Club maintains the Highlands Nordic Sno-Park. Snow plowing of the Highlands Sno-Park and grooming of the ski trails are paid for by the Washington State Parks and Recreation Commission from the proceeds of non-snowmobile Sno-Park Permit sales. Members spend many hours each year grooming, cleaning trails, creating new trails and providing members with up to date reports on weather and trail conditions. Membership is $15 for individuals or $20 per family per year. Your dues assists with the maintenance of the park. If you would like to join you may do so here, via PayPal.

Special Projects

shelterEach year the Highlands Nordic Ski Club takes on a few major projects to improve the Sno-Park. Our snow shelter is completed. Much thanks goes to Rob Thompson for volunteering to manage the shelter project. Thanks too, to Rob and to George Baumgardner for gathering the materials, and to Rob, George, Jack Thurston, Andre Corso and everyone else who took time to put the building together. Thanks also to Julie Vanderwal for writing an Okanogan Family Faire grant, and to the OFF Grant Committee for awarding dollars to purchase the last of the materials we need. Both Midway Building Supply and Zosel's Lumber have generously discounted items for the construction, so thank yous to these local businesses are also in order. And thanks to each of you for your dues, donations and generosity over the years.
